Ayanna Dublin Named ASUN Newcomer of the Week

Atlanta -- Stetson women's basketball graduate forward Ayanna Dublin (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been named ASUN Newcomer of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It is the second straight week a Hatter has been named the conference Newcomer of the Week as Tatiana Streun was selected on Nov. 29.

Dublin went a perfect 8-for-8 from the floor for a team-high 18 points in Stetson's win 67-58 win over Furman on Saturday. She added six rebounds and a career-high eight assists and was +12 in over 31 minutes of action. She helped Stetson win for the fourth time in the last five games.

An MBA major, Dublin is averaging 9.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season. She has started all eight games and leads the ASUN in field goal percentage with a .682 mark.

The Hatters (5-3) will host Florida National at 5 p.m. Monday evening.
