DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson University head women's basketball coach Melissa DeVore has announced the addition of Reggie Mosley as an assistant coach, reuniting with a trusted member of her staff from their time together at Coker University.
Mosley joins the Hatters after most recently serving at Southeast Missouri, following a highly successful three-year stint at NCAA Division II Coker, where he worked alongside DeVore in building one of the top programs in the region.
"I'm excited to welcome Reggie to our staff at Stetson," said DeVore. "Having worked with him before, I know the energy, loyalty, and work ethic he brings every day. His experience and knowledge of the Division I level, especially in recruiting and player development, will be a huge asset to our program. He's familiar with how we want to play—the pace, toughness, pressure defense, and competitive mindset that will define our team. He sees the vision and knows the culture I want for the program, all of which makes him a great fit. Most importantly, he's someone who believes in building strong relationships and helping student-athletes succeed on and off the court. I'm thrilled to have him alongside me as we continue building the future of Stetson women's basketball."
During his time at Coker, Mosley played a key role in one of the most successful stretches in program history. The Cobras improved their win total by 57 percent over three seasons, culminating in a 29-5 record during the 2024-25 campaign, including a 20-4 mark in South Atlantic Conference play. The team also posted a program-best 14-game winning streak and reached the NCAA Division II Elite Eight while climbing as high as No. 9 in the national rankings.
Mosley helped elevate Coker's defense from ninth in the SAC to second in the league and was instrumental in developing the program's post players, leading the conference in post field goal percentage. Under his guidance, the Cobras produced a SAC Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and an All-Freshman selection.
In 2024, Mosley was selected as one of 50 coaches nationwide to participate in the NCAA Basketball Coaches Academy.
Prior to his time at Coker, Mosley began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Indiana State from 2018-21, where he contributed in recruiting, player development, and team operations. He later served as an assistant coach at Paris Junior College, helping improve the team's winning percentage by 40 percent while developing a top-40 junior college player, an all-conference selection, and a freshman of the year.
"I'm thrilled to reunite with Melissa and continue building something special together in such a great environment," Mosley said. "It's an exciting opportunity and I'm ready to work and make an impact."
