Preview
The Stetson Hatters travel to Kennesaw, Ga. this weekend for a two-game series vs. the Kennesaw State Owls.  Tip-off at the Convocation Center is set for 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday with live coverage on ESPN+.  

All-Time Series
Stetson leads the all-time series 29-6 over Kennesaw State. The Hatters have won 24 of the last 27 head-to-head meetings, including 12 of the last 13 at the Convocation Center. The teams split last season with each team winning on the road.

ASUN Honors
Following a combined 46-point scoring effort in two games vs. North Alabama, junior Yazz Wazeerud-Din was named ASUN Player and Newcomer of the Week by the league office on Monday.  Wazeerud-Din scored a career-high 30 points in the Hatters' 75-66 win over the Lions on Saturday.  On Sunday, the Hatter junior registered 16 points with two rebounds and a career-high seven steals.  For the week, Wazeerud-Din shot 56 percent from the floor (13-for-23) and 86 percent from the arc (6-for-7), while playing all 80 minutes. She raised her season scoring average to 15.3 ppg (5th in the league) and her conference scoring average to 17.7 ppg (4th in the league).  

Stepping Up I
Sophomore Jamiya Turner averaged 13.0 ppg vs. North Alabama last weekend while playing a new position (5).  She has scored in double figures in 10 games this season, including nine times at home.


Stepping Up II
Sophomore Kiya Turner averaged 15.5 ppg last weekend while shooting 62 percent from the floor. She scored a career-high 18 points in Game 2 vs. UNA.


Heating Up
Junior guard Maria Visone has hit 10 3-pointers in her last four games. She has at least one 3-pointer in all eight of her games this season.


Milestone Approaching
Senior Megan Vincent is nine rebounds shy of 600 for her career. She would be the 18th player in school history to reach that milestone.

Three-Point Shooting
So far this season, Stetson is averaging 7.7 3-pointers-per-game. That total ranks 52nd in the NCAA and is 2.5 more triples-per-game than the team averaged last season.


The Head Coach
Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 13th season with the Hatters and 26th season overall. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Bria holds a Stetson record of 227-173 (.568).  This past Sunday was her 400th game with the Hatters.

  • Megan Vincent is just 18 blocks shy of 200 in her career
  • Stetson has won 87 consecutive games when scoring 74 points or more (4-0 this season)
  • The Hatters are 4-0 when leading at the half and 5-1 when scoring 70 points or more
