Hatters Visit FGCU Saturday

As ASUN Conference play begins to wind down, Stetson women's soccer looks to build some momentum when they hit the road to take on FGCU, 2 p.m., Saturday in Fort Myers.
 
Stetson (1-3-1, 0-2-1 ASUN) has endured some tough luck of late in two straight 1-0 losses. The Hatters out-shot their opponent in each match, including a 17-2 edge last week against Jacksonville.
 
The Hatters will look to turn things around against the high-flying Eagles. FGCU (3-2-2, 1-2-0 ASUN) leads the ASUN in shots with 102 on the season. The Eagles rank second in the conference with 33 points, which includes 10 goals and 13 assists.
 
The Hatters are averaging 14.2 shots per match – the second-best mark in the conference. Erin McRae and Lily Truong are currently tied for fifth in the ASUN with 2.40 shots per contest.
