Jacksonville, Fla. – Stetson's hopes of extending the 2021 baseball season evaporated in the heat of the first inning on Saturday afternoon at Harmon Stadium when host North Florida took advantage of seven walks from Hatters pitchers to plate eight runs.
UNF went on to record a 9-2 victory, ending the season for Stetson. The Hatters finished the year with a 26-23 record, including a 2-7 mark against UNF. The Ospreys evened their season mark at 21-21 and move on to the ASUN Tournament next week. That event will be played on the Ospreys' home field.
