Preview
After going 7-6 in non-conference play, the Stetson Hatters will host Liberty Wednesday night in the ASUN opener for both teams.  Tip-off at the Edmunds Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.  The Flames enter the game having won nine in a row.

Tickets start at just $7 for for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center Box Office. Stetson students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with ID.  


All-Time Series - 8th Meeting
Liberty leads the all-time series 4-3 over Stetson.  The Flames have won four straight in the series including both meetings in 2021 in Lynchburg, Va. The series is tied 1-1 in DeLand. 

Defensive Matchup
Wednesday's game features the top two defensive teams in the ASUN and two of the top 20 defenses in the NCAA. The Flames lead the league and rank third in the country with a scoring defense of 48.3. The Hatters ranks second in the league and 19th in the NCAA with a scoring defense of 53.5.  

Fun in the ASUN
Stetson has had nine winning seasons in conference play in the past 11 years. Overall, the Hatters are 120-58 (.674) in the league since the start of the 2010-11 season. Stetson won the ASUN regular season title in 2016-17 with a record of 13-1. The Hatters went 7-9 a year ago.

Hargrove Named ASUN Freshman of the Week
Alyssa Hargrove was named ASUN Conference Freshman of the Week on Dec. 20  Hargrove averaged 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals in three games. She pulled down five rebounds at #16 USF, then registered eight points and two rebounds in a 64-58 win over VCU.  Hargrove capped her week scoring a team-high 13 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, adding eight rebounds and five assists vs. Tennessee State. She is third Hatter to be honored with a weekly award this season.

► The Hatters are 3-1 at home this season, averaging 84.5 ppg

Rebounding Improvement
After ranking last in the ASUN in rebounding last season, the Hatters have made major strides in that area.  Stetson currently ranks sixth in the league in rebounding (37.3 rpg) and third in rebound margin (+5.1). The Hatters have outrebounded eight of 13 opponents, and are 7-1 in those games.  


The Head Coach
Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 14th season with the Hatters and 27th season overall. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Bria holds a Stetson record of 239-184. She is eight wins away from 400 career.
