Preview
Two red-hot teams go head-to-head Saturday night when the Stetson Hatters meet the 20th-ranked FGCU Eagles.  Tip-off at Alico Arena is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.  The Eagles have won 15 straight, the longest active streak in Division I, and are ranked 20th in the nation in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll.

All-Time Series vs. FGCU - 35th Meeting
FGCU leads the all-time series 30-4 over Stetson. The Eagles have won 10 straight overall and hold a 14-1 advantage in Fort Myers.  Stetson's last win in the series came on Feb. 25, 2017, a 67-64 overtime win at Alico Arena.

Milestone Ahead
Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 14th season with the Hatters and 27th season overall. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Bria holds a Stetson record of 246-188, and an all-time record of 399-401.   She is looking to become the 64th active Division I coach with 400 career victories.

Last Time Out
Stetson completed a clean sweep of the ASUN West Division after knocking off first-place Jacksonville State 70-66 Wednesday evening at the Edmunds Center. Freshman Alyssa Hargrove scored a game-high 19 points and Jamiya Turner added 14 as the Hatters rallied to win their sixth game in a row.   Stetson trailed by seven in third quarter and by two early in the fourth.  Khamya McNeal scored nine points in the final frame to help secure the win.

Quotable
"We have to keep it in perspective," head coach Lynn Bria said after the game. "There are a lot of games left. You are always on to the next one, win or lose. I've always said that, but it's a big win for us because they've done such a good job at Jacksonville State.

"We have a lot of tough ones coming up.  We have got to just keep getting better. I don't think we can look too far ahead.  I think we have to focus in our practices. We have to keep our eyes on what's in front of us."

Team Defense
The Hatters have held 14 of their 24 opponents to under 60 points this season, and only FGCU has topped the 70-point mark.  At 55.5 points allowed per game, Stetson's defense ranks second in the ASUN and 26th in the NCAA. The Hatters also rank 37th in the NCAA in field goal pct. defense (.363).

Six Straight And Counting
Here are some notes on the team's current 6-game win steak:

► As of Friday, it is tied for 19th-longest active win streak in the NCAA
► Stetson has outscored opponents by 94 points (+15.7 ppg scoring margin) during the streak
► Stetson is allowing just 51.5 ppg and five of six opponents have been held under 54 points

Jamiya Turner is averaging 12.2 ppg and 9.3 rpg; she has scored in double figrues in four straight games
► Head Coach Lynn Bria has her 10th separate win streak of five games or more with the Hatters
