Preview
The Stetson Hatters will play the final game of the regular season Saturday afternoon when they host the UNF Ospreys.  Tip-off at the Edmunds Center is set for 4 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.  The Hatters will honor seniors and graduates Ayanna Dublin, Tatiana Streun and Yazz Wazeerud-Din prior to the game.  Stetson is 9-1 in its last 10 games.

Tickets for Saturday's game start at just $7 for for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center Box Office. Stetson students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with ID.  


All-Time Series vs. North Florida - 35th Meeting
Stetson leads the all-time series 21-13 over UNF, including a 12-4 mark in DeLand.  The teams have not played at the Edmunds Center since March 2, 2020.  Stetson won the earlier meeting this season, 73-62 on Jan. 8.

Last Time Out
Mali Morgan-Elliott scored 15 points in 16 minutes off the bench, burying three straight 3-pointers in the second quarter, to help lift Stetson to a 75-64 victory over Kennesaw State at the Convocation Center.  Marietta native Yazz Wazeerud-Din led the way with 19 points as the Hatters clinched the No. 3 seed in the ASUN East Division.  Jamiya Turner was strong on both ends of the court, registering 15 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season.  ASUN Newcomer of the Week Alyssa Hargrove added 12 points.

Team Defense
The Hatters have held 16 of their 28 opponents to under 60 points this season, and only FGCU has topped the 70-point mark.  At 56.1 points allowed per game, Stetson's defense ranks second in the ASUN and 27th in the NCAA. The Hatters also rank 48th in the NCAA in field goal pct. defense (.367).

Home Sweet Home
Stetson is 7-4 at home this season and the Hatters have won four straight at the Edmunds Center.

ASUN Victories
Stetson has defeated 10 of 11 ASUN opponents this season, everyone once except Liberty.

Eight Straight 
Here are some notes on Stetson's recent 8-game win steak:
► It was Stetson's longest win streak in five seasons (Hatters won 15 straight ASUN games in 2016-17)
► On Feb. 19, it tied for 11th-longest active win streak in the NCAA
► Stetson outscored opponents by 107 points (+13.4 ppg scoring margin) during the streak
► Stetson allowed just 52.4 ppg and seven opponents were held under 56 points
► The Hatters dominated 3rd quarters vs. Lipscomb (20-7) and Central Arkansas (23-5)
► The Hatters rallied from 4th quarter deficits vs. Jacksonville State (2) and FGCU (6)
► Head Coach Lynn Bria posted her fifth separate win streak of eight games or more with the Hatters

Streun Stepping Out
After hitting a total of 23 3-pointers in four total seasons at Portland State, Tatiana Streun has unleashed 24 triples in her grad season at Stetson, including 21 in conference play.  Streun leads the team in 3-point field goal pct. overall (.436) and ranks third in the league in 3-point field goal pct. in ASUN play (.447).

Take It Away 
Last season, Yazz Wazeerud-Din led the ASUN in steals (59) and steals-per-game (2.36). Through 27 games this season, the Hatter senior once again leads the ASUN in both categories (58 steals, 2.13 spg). She currently ranks 57th in the NCAA with 58 steals. 

The Head Coach
Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 14th season with the Hatters and 27th season overall. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Bria holds a Stetson record of 249-189. She has 402 career victories.

  • Stetson is looking for its first 18-win season since 2016-17 (26-7)
  • Alyssa Hargrove was named ASUN Newcomer of the Week Monday, her third weekly honor of the season
  • The Hatters have had six ASUN weekly award winners this season
  • In Stetson's first 28 games this season, the team leading at halftime has gone on to win the game 23 times
  • Stetson has won 91 consecutive games when scoring 74 points or more
  • Stetson has won 13 straight games when holding opponents under 60 points.

Up Next
Stetson will host Bellarmine in the first round of the ASUN Championship at 6 p.m. Wednesday.  If the Hatters advance, they will visit North ALabama at 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday in the ASUN quarterfinals.
