ORLANDO -- The Stetson University women's tennis team continued to roll as it improved to 13-1 on the season with an 4-0 victory over St. Thomas at the USTA National campus on Tuesday afternoon.
The doubles point was quickly claimed by the Hatters with No. 1
Alanna DiFrancesco and
Elodie Foster taking their match 6-2, and at No. 2,
Nadejda Maslova and
Cheri Darley winning 6-0.
The singles matches were dominated by Stetson as well, with Darley (No. 2) winning her match, 6-2, 6-2 to improve to 11-1 this season. DiFrancesco (No. 3) and
Noa Cohen (No. 4) each took theirs by 6-0, 6-0 counts to remain unbeaten this year - 13-0 and 12-0, respectively.
The Hatters return home, where they are 10-0 this season, for a pair of ASUN matches over the weekend. The Hatters welcome both Florida Gulf Coast (Friday) and Kennesaw State (Sunday) for league matches that both begin at 10 am.
