Stetson finishes the 2022 season with its highest ITA ranking ever

The Hatters are the No. 60 team in the final women's tennis national poll

DELAND, Fla. - With the conclusion of the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Team Championship, the final DI Women's ITA Collegiate Tennis National Team Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point were announced and the Stetson University Hatters have reached the program's highest ever ranking in program history, finishing the season at the No. 60 spot.

Stetson (22-3) had been ranked three times during the 2022 season and moved up one spot from the previous poll entering the NCAA Championship. The Hatters' first appeared in the ITA rankings on Feb. 23 at the No. 62 spot and were also ranked 64th on April 27 and 61st entering the NCAAs on May 4. Enjoying its most successful season in school history, Stetson claimed its first ASUN Championship title in 33 years, its first ASUN regular-season title since 1989 (fourth overall), its first NCAA Division I Championship berth, a school record 22 wins (second-most ever for a team in the ASUN), a school-best win percentage (.916) and a school-record nine-match win streak.
