DeLand, Fla. -- Stetson senior Shae Henson (Merritt Island, Fla.) and sophomore Karin Zolnercikova (Orlova, Czech Republic) have been named the ASUN Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.  It is Stetson's second straight Pair of the Week selection after Carolina Ferraris and Anete Namike earned the honor last week.
 
Playing at pair 1, Henson and Zolnercikova went a perfect 4-0 on Stetson's west coast trip to Long Beach, Calif.  On Friday, they defeated the 1 seeds from #13 Long Beach State and Utah by identical 2-0 scores.  On Saturday, the Hatter duo earned 2-1 wins over the 1 seeds from Texas and #13 Long Beach State once again.
 
With the victories, Henson and Zolnercikova improved to 13-3 on the season and ran their win streak to six in a row. It is the fourth career Pair of the Week honor for Henson and the first for Zolnercikova.
 
The 17th-ranked Hatters (8-6) will host the Stetson Beach Invitational this weekend in DeLand.  The Hatters will welcome Coastal Carolina, FGCU, #14 FAU and North Alabama to the Cooper Beach Courts on Friday and Saturday.  The four Stetson duals will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
