DeLand, FL. The Stetson women's tennis team finished their spring season ranked ninth in the Southeast Regional Rankings announced by the ITA.
The Hatters came in behind Georgia, Florida, Miami (FL), Georgia Tech, Florida State, Florida International, UCF, and South Florida. They were ranked ahead of ASUN Champions North Florida who ended up being ranked tenth.
"To make the top 10, in one of the toughest regionals in the country is a great achievement for this team," said head coach
Travis Sandlant. "They work extremely hard and have been recognized again for the hard work they do on the court."
The Hatters concluded the season with a second-place finish in the first ever NIT tournament after a loss to TCU.
