DELAND, Florida – The Stetson University Athletics Department has partnered with Infuxer, providing student-athletes the opportunity to monetize on their name, image and likeness (NIL) by allowing fans to purchase personalized merchandise.
Influxer is an officially licensed vendor, creating co-branded apparel customized with players' names and numbers. Through this partnership, Influxer will provide education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding.
"We are excited to partner with Influxer to provide NIL opportunities for our students. It has been fun to see families and friends of our students to show their support in this way. Most importantly, we are thrilled that Influxer is participating in the educational aspects of our program and offering resources for our students to learn from and grow," Ricky Ray, Stetson University Director of Athletics.
Keith Miller, Influxer VP added, "Influxer is thrilled to partner with the Hatters, offering an NIL opportunity that truly benefits all involved. Ricky Ray and his team have been incredibly thoughtful, not only in focusing on the outcome but also in recognizing how the experience helps student-athletes grow their business acumen."
Every student-athlete at Stetson University will have the opportunity to create their own webpage and showcase personalized gear that is available for purchase.
