Men's Soccer Season Comes to End in ASUN Semifinal

Fall to #4 Central Arkansas 3-0 at home

DeLAND, Fla. – Hosting the ASUN Men's Soccer Championship semifinals as the #1 seed on Monday night, the Stetson Hatters saw their season come to an end with a 3-0 loss to the Central Arkansas Bears at the Athletic Training Center on Veterans Day. Following an impressive season that included claiming the ASUN regular season title, Stetson's bid for the championship ended in their second straight semifinals appearance.

The Hatters controlled much of the game's tempo and generated 13 shots, with three on target, but were unable to find the back of the net against a resilient Bears defense. Goalkeeper Nicolo Radaelli, who earned ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year honors, recorded one save in the effort, while the Hatters held Central Arkansas to seven shots, four of which were on goal.

Despite the loss, Stetson's season showcased both individual and team success, highlighted by the ASUN regular-season championship, a #1 seed in the conference standings, and top honors for Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Goalkeeper of the Year. With six Hatters earning All-Conference recognition, it was a testament to the team's hard work, talent, and continued accent in the conference The Hatters will look to build on their success this season as they prepare for another competitive campaign next year.
