DELAND, FLA. - Stetson softball fell to Florida International 12-0 Wednesday afternoon.
Caitlin Mullen made her first collegiate start in the circle for the Hatters.
The Panthers scored four runs in the top of the first benefitting from two fielding errors by Stetson. Mullen was able to work a scoreless top of the second but Florida International scored twice more in the third. The Panthers scored six more runs in the top of the fourth as
Caitlyn Kulczyski came into the circle in relief for Stetson.
The Hatters were only able to muster four hits with
Madelyn Synoracki tallying three off them including a double.
Stetson will now head on the road to Charlotte and take on Queens for a weekend series. The series will start on Saturday April 27 with a 2:00 and 4:30pm game before wrapping up on Sunday at 10am.
