DELAND, Fla. - Stetson women's rowing hosted Canisius on Friday afternoon for a set of races. The Hatters and Griffins competed in the first varsity 4+, the first varsity 8+ and the second varsity 8+.
The Hatters were able to sweep the Griffins in all three races, facing heavy winds. The varsity 8+ finished with a time of 7:41.7 besting Canisius by almost 5 seconds. The second varsity 8+ for the Hatters beat out the Griffins with a time of 7:55.7, 2.7 seconds faster than the opposition.
The Stetson first varsity 4+ crossed the line with a time of 8:28.7, almost 10 seconds faster than Canisius.
