2024 Season
- Was named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll
- Rowed in the Varsity 8+
PRIOR TO STETSON
- Haynes attended Bartram Trail High School, where she rowed for four varsity seasons under coach Davis Bales.
- She competed in both USRowing and the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association.
- Haynes was a National Champion in the Women’s U15 8+ at the 2019 U17/U15 Nationals.
- She also earned a third-place finish in the Women’s U15 4x at the 2019 U17/U15 Nationals.
- Haynes helped her team win a state championship in the Women’s Junior 8+ in 2022.
- Additional rowing accomplishments included third-place finishes at the 2021 State Championships (Women’s Junior 4+), 2021 Southeast Regionals (Women’s U17 2x) and 2023 Southeast Regionals (Women’s Youth 4-).
- She also competed at Youth Nationals in both 2021 and 2023.
- Academically, Haynes graduated in the top three percent of her class, earned Collegiate High School Graduate honors from St. Johns River State College and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
- She was active in DECA, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Phi Theta Kappa, Rho Kappa, Sisterhood and Beta Club during high school.
- Haynes chose Stetson because of its small class sizes, campus atmosphere and sense of belonging.

- Emily Elizabeth Haynes was born on May 26, 2005.
- She is the daughter of Jim and Heather Haynes.
- She has one younger sister, Jillian.
- Haynes is from Saint Johns, Florida.
- She is majoring in Finance with a concentration in Certified Financial Planning at Stetson.
- Her cousin, Gabriella Reeves, is a swimmer at University of North Florida.
- Haynes plans to work with her father as a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors following graduation.
