HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Stetson Beach Volleyball will once again be represented on the national stage as two Hatter pairs are set to compete in the 2025 AVCA Beach National Championships this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama.
Katie and
Madeline Camp will take the sand as one of Stetson's entries, joined by the talented duo of
Marta Carro and
Maria Ozaeta. Both pairs earned their way into the prestigious national field following strong fall performances.
In Friday's opening round, Ozaeta and Carro will take on LSU's Camryn Chatellier and Tatum Finlason, while the Camp Sisters will face Kristin Bobay and Madison Morrow from Texas A&M–Corpus Christi.
The AVCA Beach National Championships showcase the nation's top collegiate tandems in a 64-pair, single-elimination bracket. The action begins Friday and continues through Sunday's championship match, set for 12:45 p.m. ET. Teams qualified for the event through a combination of their regular season results, top finishes at regional qualifiers, and at-large selections determined by the AVCA committee.
Fans will have several opportunities to watch the Hatters in action throughout the weekend. Six of the tournament's key women's pairs matches—including two quarterfinals, both semifinals, the third-place match, and the championship—will be streamed live on ESPN+. In addition, more than 20 matches will be available for free on the AVCA YouTube channel, providing fans a front-row seat to all the excitement from Huntsville.
Stetson, a perennial power in the ASUN and a consistent national contender, looks to build on its storied beach volleyball tradition with another strong showing at the AVCA Championships. With veteran leadership, chemistry, and momentum from an impressive 2025 season, both Hatter pairs will aim to make deep runs in the national bracket.
