Jacksonville, Fla. – Stetson lacrosse suffered an 18-3 loss to Jacksonville on Saturday afternoon.
The Hatters trailed 2-0 after the first quarter before
Miya Scanlan got one back for Stetson. Jacksonville responded with two more goals, leaving the Hatters behind 4-1 at the end of the quarter.
In the second quarter, Stetson cut the deficit to 6-2 thanks to a free position goal from
Samantha King. King added her second goal in the fourth quarter, but the Hatters ultimately fell 18-3.
Maddie Eckert started in goal for Stetson, recording 15 saves for a .469 save percentage.
Stetson will return home as they host Kennesaw State on Saturday, March 29 at 1:00pm.
