Tampa, Fla. – Stetson Lacrosse wrapped up its regular season on Wednesday night with a 23-6 loss to USF.
The Hatters fell behind early in the first quarter but quickly responded, with Lexi Bird netting the equalizer to make it 1-1. After the Bulls regained the lead, Kathleen Nichols struck back to even the score at 2-2. Nichols added her second goal of the game following two more USF goals to keep Stetson within reach.
Bird notched her second goal late in the second quarter, bringing the Hatters' first-half total to four as they trailed 11-4 at the break.
In the second half, Miya Scanlan added a goal in the third quarter, and Rori Prilik found the back of the net for her second goal of the season. Despite the effort, Stetson was unable to close the gap and fell 23-6.
The Hatters finish the season with a 5-11 record and will look to build on this season in 2026.
