Hatters Fall to Rollins, 6-1

Winter Park, Fla. - Stetson dropped a 6-1 decision to Rollins on Friday, with the Hatters earning their lone point from a strong performance by Anastasija Adeikyte at the No. 4 singles position.

The Tars claimed the doubles point after sweeping all three courts. At No. 3 doubles, Clelia Lombardi and Yuki Mizuguchi battled but fell 6-2 to Amina Abdulloeva and Lorin Tilipman. The closest match of the doubles slate came at No. 2, where Astigarraga Harper and Dana Baidaulet pushed Nisan Can and Milla Falster to a tiebreak before dropping a 7-6(7) decision. Rollins secured the doubles point at No. 1 as Anastasija Adeikyte and Katia Tuliakova were edged 6-4 by Alyssa Novoa and Amina Taibi.

In singles play, Stetson showed resilience across the lineup. Adeikyte delivered the Hatters' point at No. 4 singles, earning a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory over Abdulloeva. Several other matches were closely contested, including Harper's three-set battle at No. 2 singles and Lombardi's tiebreak first set at No. 6.

Rollins picked up singles wins at the remaining positions to clinch the match.
