DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson University linebacker Andrew Martin has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Football Team. Martin is the lone representative from Stetson and one of 50 student-athletes from the Pioneer Football League recognized for excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
A junior from McDonough, Georgia, Martin posted a 3.85 GPA in Environmental Science while starting all 12 games for the Hatters this season. On the field, he recorded 67 tackles, including 29 solo stops, 9.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and three quarterback hits. His performance also earned him a second-team All-Pioneer Football League selection, marking the second consecutive year he has been recognized at the conference level.
Martin has now been selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. He joins a select group of just six Pioneer Football League players moving on to the national ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on January 27, 2026.
The CSC Academic All-District® teams recognize student-athletes for their combined athletic performance and academic achievement. Martin's selection highlights his dedication to excellence in both the classroom and on the field, continuing his streak of academic and athletic honors as a member of the Stetson Hatters football program.
