DeLAND, Fla. – Stetson Football closed out its spring season Saturday afternoon in front of approximately 500 fans at the Athletic Training Center, wrapping up a productive spring camp with the annual Spring Game as the Hatters continue building momentum under second-year head coach
Mike Jasper.
The spring game served as the culmination of 15 practice sessions, including two scrimmages, as Stetson continued developing depth, integrating newcomers and building on the foundation established during Jasper's first season in DeLand.
With strong fan support on hand and competition across the roster throughout the afternoon, the event offered a final opportunity for players to compete before the program turns its attention toward summer workouts and preparations for the 2026 season.
"Very pleased with the spring game," Jasper said. "We came out pretty healthy and the guys were able to compete a little bit in front of an awesome crowd. Huge thank you to all who came out. We're fired up to get some rest and then attack this summer."
Throughout the spring, Jasper and his staff emphasized development both on and off the field, with the Hatters showing growth in strength, execution and overall continuity as the program enters year two under the current staff.
Saturday also gave supporters an early look at a roster blending experienced returners with offseason additions, while providing fans an opportunity to connect with players following the game during an informal meet-and-greet.
The turnout at the ATC marked another sign of growing energy around the program heading into the fall, as the Hatters now shift their focus toward summer conditioning and preparation for the 2026 campaign.
Stetson opens the 2026 season Sept. 5 at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium against Webber International.
