DeLand, Fla. – Stetson softball hits the road for a midweek doubleheader at USF on Wednesday, Feb. 18 before returning home to host Columbia and St. John's for the Stetson Invitational, running Friday, Feb. 20 through Sunday, Feb. 22 in DeLand.
The Hatters enter the week at 8–1, their best start since 2017.
Nicole Edmiaston has continued her torrid start at the plate. Through 30 at-bats, she has collected 17 hits, including three doubles and four home runs, while driving in 19 runs. Edmiaston owns a .567 batting average, .600 on-base percentage, 1.067 slugging percentage, and a 1.667 OPS.
Annabella McClerren ranks second on the team with 13 hits and leads the squad with nine walks, posting a .500 batting average and .639 on-base percentage.

Logan Forman, and
Irianis Garcia have each tallied 10 hits, combining for 22 RBIs. As a team, Stetson is batting .372 with a .456 on-base percentage, totaling 90 hits, 38 walks, and 72 RBIs through the first two weeks of the season.

Ava Braswell improved to 4–0 after picking up two more wins last weekend. She has thrown 22 innings, allowing seven runs on 22 hits and four walks while striking out 13.
Jenna Johnston lowered her ERA to 1.79 after tossing a complete game and earning a save this past weekend. She has pitched 15.2 innings, allowing just four runs while striking out eight.
USF enters Wednesday's matchup at 8–4, coming off a 4–1 weekend with wins over Indiana State, Yale, Boston College, and DePaul. Kathy Garcia Soto leads the Bulls with 13 hits, including two doubles and three triples, while driving in four runs. Karhys Pierce has added 11 hits, while Toryn Fulton and Alex Wilkes each have 10, with Fulton and Wilkes sharing the team lead with 10 RBIs apiece. South Florida is batting .286 as a team with 85 hits, 33 walks, and 55 RBIs. In the circle, McKenna Schroding is 2–0 across three appearances with a 0.00 ERA and two complete games over 13 innings pitched.
Columbia opened its season last weekend in North Carolina, dropping four games against Appalachian State, UNC Greensboro, and Fairfield. Tatum Hubble leads the Lions with four hits, followed by Sarah Mikami and Kyra Mason with three each. Payton Shimansky and Mason share the team lead with two RBIs apiece. Columbia is batting .198 as a team with 19 hits, 13 walks, and six RBIs. Mads Lawson has logged a team-high 8.1 innings in the circle, allowing 10 earned runs while striking out 11.
St. John's has started strong at 9–1, including a 5–0 showing at The Spring Games in Leesburg last weekend. Jess Bianco leads the Red Storm with a .529 batting average, totaling 18 hits, including two triples, and 12 RBIs. London Slade follows with 16 hits and a .471 average. As a team, St. John's is hitting .346 with 101 hits, 39 walks, and 52 RBIs. In the circle, Ana Serafinko is 4–0 with three complete games over 36.2 innings, posting a 0.38 ERA with just two earned runs allowed and 58 strikeouts.
Wednesday's contest will mark the 60th all-time meeting between Stetson and USF. The Hatters are 1–0 all-time against Columbia and hold an 8–1 advantage over St. John's heading into the 10th meeting between the programs.
