Unlock Possibilities for Stetson Athletics During Stetson Gives

DeLAND, Fla. — The Hatter community will have the opportunity to help unlock possibilities for Stetson student-athletes during Stetson Gives, a 24-hour celebration of philanthropy taking place March 11–12.

During the annual giving initiative, alumni, fans, parents and friends of Stetson Athletics are encouraged to make a gift of any size to support the continued growth and success of Hatter student-athletes. Contributions made during Stetson Gives help provide vital resources that enhance the student-athlete experience both in competition and in the classroom.

Hosted by Stetson University, Stetson Gives highlights the collective power of the Stetson community to invest in the future of the University and its students. Gifts directed to Stetson Athletics help support scholarships, facility improvements, academic support programs and leadership development opportunities that prepare Hatters to succeed long after their playing careers end.

Throughout the 24-hour celebration, supporters will have the opportunity to contribute to several initiatives across campus, including the Stetson Fund, Hatter Ready, the Student Support Foundation Club and a variety of academic colleges and programs. By choosing to support Athletics, donors directly impact the development and success of Stetson's student-athletes and help ensure they remain Hatter Ready to lead in their communities.

Members of the campus community can also take part in the festivities in person. Stetson's student philanthropy organization, Green, White and You, will host Dunk It for Donors on the Stetson Green on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The basketball-themed event will feature interactive games, prizes and opportunities for students to learn more about the impact of philanthropy across campus.

Those who make a gift during Stetson Gives will receive an exclusive Stetson Gives keychain, serving as a reminder that every donor holds the key to what's next for the Stetson community.

Supporters can further amplify the campaign by becoming a Stetson Gives Advocate, helping spread the word by sharing the initiative with their personal and professional networks.

Together, the Hatter family can help unlock new opportunities and continue building a championship future for Stetson student-athletes.
