DeLAND, Fla. -- Stetson University Athletics is celebrating another strong year of academic achievement, as six intercollegiate programs earned a perfect 100 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR) in the NCAA's most recent report. The honored teams include Beach Volleyball, Women's Cross Country, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, and Volleyball—a testament to Stetson's commitment to supporting excellence both in competition and in the classroom.
Overall, Stetson posted a 91 percent GSR across all sports, the second-highest mark among institutions in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The department sponsors 18 Division I sports, 17 of which compete for NCAA championships, and each contributes to a culture where academic priority and personal development remain core values.
"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and the dedication they show to their academic success and personal development," said Director of Athletics Ricky Ray. "Achieving this level of academic success reflects not only their hard work, but also the support provided by our coaches and academic services staff."
The NCAA Graduation Success Rate measures how well institutions support student-athletes toward degree completion, accounting for transfer students and those who leave in good academic standing. Stetson's continued success in these annual reports underscores its longstanding emphasis on academic performance and student well-being.
As the Hatters pursue championships throughout the year, their achievements in the classroom shine just as brightly—reinforcing Stetson's mission to develop well-rounded leaders prepared for life beyond collegiate athletics.
