Stetson Athletics Opens Creative Content Production Suite

DeLAND, Fla.strong> — Stetson Athletics has unveiled a new Creative Content Production Suite, a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance student-athlete branding, elevate recruiting efforts and strengthen the department's digital storytelling across all its intercollegiate sport programs.

Located inside the recently-renovated Edmunds Center, the production suite provides approximately 500 Hatters student-athletes with a dedicated space to create professional-quality photo and video content while serving as the home for the department's expanding creative services and broadcast operations.

The facility features professional lighting, interchangeable photo and video backdrops, customizable content creation spaces and flexible production areas designed for social media content, interviews, promotional videos, podcasts and photography.

The production suite also includes office space for Stetson Athletics' Creative Video Content Manager and the department's ESPN+ broadcast production staff, creating a centralized hub for the department's creative content initiatives.

"The landscape of college athletics continues to evolve, and compelling digital storytelling has become an essential part of the student-athlete experience," said Director of Athletics Ricky Ray. "This production suite gives every one of our student-athletes access to professional resources that allow them to tell their stories, build their personal brands and better position themselves in today's NIL environment."

Beyond providing studio space, the suite brings together a variety of creative resources available to Stetson student-athletes. Student-athletes and coaches have access to professionally produced game highlights, action images captured by photographer Steve Simoneau, and creative collaboration opportunities with Stetson University's student-run Agency 83 creative agency. Together, those resources provide a comprehensive content library that student-athletes can use to showcase their accomplishments while helping coaches highlight their programs throughout the recruiting process.

The facility is intended to support student-athletes as they develop content for social media platforms, NIL partnerships and personal branding initiatives while giving coaches additional tools to connect with prospective student-athletes through engaging visual storytelling.

"Every student-athlete has a unique story to tell," said Ray. "Whether they're promoting an NIL opportunity, celebrating a competitive achievement or simply sharing their journey as a Hatter, this space gives them the ability to create content that reflects the excellence of our programs."

The centralized production suite also enhances collaboration among Stetson Athletics' communications, creative services and ESPN+ broadcast teams, improving the department's ability to produce high-quality content that engages fans, promotes student-athletes and showcases the Stetson Athletics brand.

The Creative Content Production Suite represents Stetson Athletics' continued investment in innovation, student-athlete development and the future of collegiate athletics communications. By combining professional production resources with campus partnerships and creative expertise, the facility provides Hatters with the tools to elevate their personal brands while strengthening the stories that define Stetson Athletics.
