DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson improved to 18-11 overall and 3-0 in ASUN play with a pair of victories over North Florida on Saturday at Patricia Wilson Field, defeating the Ospreys 8–4 and 9–3 to complete the weekend sweep.
The series win marked the first time since 2016 that Stetson has won a series against North Florida and the first time since 2006 the Hatters have started ASUN play 3-0. It's also the first time since 2006 that the Hatters have won a series against the Ospreys at home.
Game 1
North Florida jumped out to an early lead in the second inning. After a walk to Caiden Oliva and an error allowed Hannah Davila to reach, Ayden Allen delivered an RBI single before Kelsey Vogel launched a three-run home run to give the Ospreys a 4–1 advantage.
Stetson chipped away in the middle innings.
Nicole Edmiaston cut into the deficit with a solo home run in the third inning, her 12th of the season.
Amber Chumley followed with a two-run homer in the fifth to pull the Hatters within one run.
The Hatters took control in the sixth inning. Chumley delivered again with a two-run double as part of a three-run rally that pushed Stetson ahead 8–4, a lead the Hatters held through the final inning.
Kennedy Temples earned the win in relief, tossing three scoreless innings while allowing no hits to secure the victory. Stetson's defense settled in after the early innings, preventing North Florida from adding to its total down the stretch.

Annabella McClerren opened the inning with back-to-back singles before Edmiaston delivered a two-run double down the left-field line to put Stetson back in front.
Amber Chumley added an RBI single later in the inning to extend the lead to 6–3.
Edmiaston put the game away in the sixth inning with a three-run home run to center field, pushing the Hatters' lead to 9–3.
Pitching
In Game 1,
Hayley Arnold started for Stetson and pitched four innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits while striking out four. Temples followed with three scoreless innings in relief, allowing no hits to close out the win.
In Game 2,
Ava Braswell earned the start and pitched five innings, allowing three runs on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Temples added a scoreless sixth inning before Arnold closed the game with a strong seventh inning.
