Stetson Falls 18–3 at Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. — Stetson women's lacrosse dropped an 18–3 decision to Colorado on Sunday afternoon at Folsom Practice Field.

The Hatters continued their road swing against the Buffaloes, working to generate offensive opportunities while facing a strong Colorado attack. Stetson recorded goals in three different quarters and remained active defensively throughout the contest.

Lexi Bird put the Hatters on the board in the second quarter, finishing a scoring chance to record Stetson's first goal of the afternoon. Colorado added several goals before halftime, but the Hatters continued to battle on both ends of the field.

Stetson added another goal in the third quarter when Ryley Heilmann found the back of the net. In the fourth, Alexa Vega closed out the Hatters' scoring with a goal late in the contest. Claire Oldford played a key role in the offense, assisting on two of Stetson's three goals.

Defensively, Stetson's goalkeepers combined for double-digit saves. Maddie Eckert recorded six saves while Harper Hodgett added four stops as the Hatters worked to slow Colorado's offensive pressure.

Stetson also remained competitive at the draw circle, finishing with 11 draw controls in the game.
