Hatters Extend Win Streak to Seven with 7-0 Victory

DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson University earned a dominant 7–0 victory over Southern on Sunday at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.

The Hatters claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. Yuki Mizuguchi and Katsiaryna Tuliakova defeated Decora Antoine and Shahd Habib 6–2 at No. 1 doubles, while Pilar Astigarraga Harper and Clelia Lombardi secured a 6–1 victory over Samara Onwuteaka and Tshegofatso Tsiang at No. 3. The No. 2 doubles match featuring Anastasija Adeikyte and Dana Baidaulet was left unfinished with Stetson leading 4–1.

Stetson continued its strong performance in singles play, sweeping all six matches.

Katsiaryna Tuliakova opened with a 6–0, 6–0 victory over Habib at No. 2 singles, and Mizuguchi followed with a matching 6–0, 6–0 win against Kai Wince at No. 3. Adeikyte added another point with a 6–1, 6–0 decision over Antoine at No. 4.

Dana Baidaulet defeated Onwuteaka 6–0, 6–2 at No. 5 singles, while Harper earned a 6–4, 7–6 victory against Tsiang at the top spot. Lombardi completed the sweep with a 6–2, 6–0 win over Hayley McGhee at No. 6.
