Three Hatters Earn All-ASUN Honors; McMillan Named Unanimous First Team Selection

Hatters Place Four on the All-Academic Team

DELAND, Fla. – Stetson women's basketball placed three student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-ASUN Teams, highlighted by Mary McMillan's unanimous First Team selection, the league office announced Monday.

Cameron Thomas earned Second Team All-ASUN honors for the second time in her career, while Aleah Sorrentino secured Third Team All-ASUN recognition — her second career all-conference honor and first as a Hatter.

Mary McMillan (Gr. G) – First Team (Unanimous)

McMillan, the Hatters' starting point guard and floor general, put together one of the most complete seasons in the ASUN. She averaged 14.2 points per game while leading the conference in assists per game (4.3) and pacing the league in assist-to-turnover ratio. She finished second in total assists with 119 and surpassed the 120-assist mark for the second consecutive season, becoming the first Hatter since McKenna Beach to record back-to-back 100+ assist campaigns.

McMillan elevated her play in conference action, averaging 15.0 points and 3.8 assists per game. She scored 20+ points in five of her last seven outings, including 29 against Jacksonville, and averaged 20.1 points per game during the month of February.

A two-time ASUN Player of the Week selection this season, McMillan posted a career-high 33 points at Jacksonville and followed with a 45-point, seven-assist, six-rebound week in a 2-0 stretch for the Hatters. She also earned Music City Classic All-Tournament Team honors after totaling 45 points and 10 three-pointers across two games.

Cameron Thomas (Sr. G) – Second Team

Thomas continued to cement herself as one of the ASUN's premier scorers, leading the conference with 474 total points while averaging 16.3 points per game. She ranked second in the league in both field goal percentage (43.8%) and three-point percentage (36.8%).

The reigning ASUN Newcomer of the Year opened the season with 27 points against Alabama — the most by a Hatter in a season opener in more than two decades — and later delivered a career-high 35 points in a road win at UCF, tied for the fifth-most in program history. That performance secured Stetson's first victory over UCF in 10 years and its first regular-season Power Conference win since 2017.

Thomas scored 15+ points in 16 games and 20+ in nine contests this season. She also reached the 1,000-point milestone in the regular-season finale, accomplishing the feat in just two seasons.

Aleah Sorrentino (Gr. F) – Third Team

In her first season as a Hatter, Aleah made an immediate impact as one of the ASUN's top two-way forwards. An All-ASUN Preseason selection, she averaged 11.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while leading Stetson with 235 total rebounds — the most by a Hatter in a season since 2019-20. She ranked second in the ASUN in both rebounding average and total boards.

Aleah recorded six double-doubles this season, including back-to-back performances during conference play and a 13-point, 10-rebound effort in a win over Jacksonville. She also put together a seven-game streak of 14+ points, highlighted by a season-high 20-point performance at North Florida.

She surpassed 1,000 career points in the home victory over Lipscomb and added 65 assists on the year, second-most on the team, showcasing her versatility and all-around impact.

The trio played a pivotal role in guiding Stetson to a 19-10 overall record and a 12-6 mark in ASUN play, earning the No. 4 seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming ASUN Championship. For continued coverage of Stetson women's basketball, visit GoHatters.com.
