INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Stetson University men's basketball assistant coach
Christian Webster has been invited to attend the Silver Waves Media NXT Up Rising Stars Power Lunch on April 2, held in conjunction with the Men's Final Four in Indianapolis.
Webster is among 58 coaches from across the country selected to participate in the prestigious event, which will take place at IU Indy. Each invitee has been recognized as a rising star in college basketball, representing some of the most promising young coaching talents in the nation.
In his role with Stetson men's basketball, Webster has played an integral part in the development of the Hatters, contributing on both ends of the floor while helping guide player growth and overall team success.
A former standout student-athlete, Webster was a four-year starter at Harvard and graduated in 2013 as the winningest player in program history with 90 career victories. During his time with the Crimson, he helped lead the program to three consecutive Ivy League titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. He ranks fifth in school history in three-pointers made (176) and second in games played (117).
Following his playing career, Webster began his coaching career at Harvard before making stops at UCF and Virginia Tech. He later joined the Stetson staff in DeLand.
