Hatters Stay Red-Hot, Sweep Milwaukee for 10th Straight

DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson Women's Tennis extended its winning streak to 10 matches with a dominant 7–0 victory over Milwaukee on Thursday at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.

The Hatters secured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Anastasija Adeikyte and Dana Baidaulet opened with a 6–4 victory over Laure Razet and Nel Van Hout, while Pilar Astigarraga Harper and Clelia Lombardi clinched the point with a 7–5 win against Elisa Rubio and Honoka Yamashita. The No. 1 doubles match featuring Yuki Mizuguchi and Katsiaryna Tuliakova was left unfinished at 6–6.

Stetson carried that momentum into singles play, sweeping all six matches.

Adeikyte put the Hatters on the board with a 6–1, 6–1 win over Razet at No. 4 singles, and Clelia Lombardi followed with a 6–1, 6–0 victory against Yamashita at No. 6. Yuki Mizuguchi added a 6–2, 6–0 win over Sara Simonova at No. 3 singles.

Katsiaryna Tuliakova extended the lead with a 6–1, 6–3 victory over Nadiia Konieva at No. 2 singles. Dana Baidaulet secured a hard-fought three-set win at No. 5, defeating Rubio 5–7, 6–4, 1–0 (11–9). Pilar Astigarraga Harper closed out the sweep with a 7–5, 7–5 win over Van Hout at No. 1 singles.
