DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson Football welcomed fans, families and friends to the Athletic Training Center on Saturday morning for the program's annual Meet the Team Day ahead of the 2026 season.
The event gave supporters an opportunity to meet members of the 2026 Hatters, collect autographs, take photos with players and an inflatable John B., and pick up team posters and giveaways throughout the morning at the ATC practice fields.
Following the meet-and-greet portion of the event, the Hatters took the field for an open scrimmage, giving those in attendance an early look at the 2026 squad as preseason camp winds down.
The scrimmage gave Stetson another chance to work through game situations, evaluate personnel and continue sharpening execution on both sides of the ball before attention fully shifts to the season opener.
Saturday's event also gave fans a chance to connect with the program before the start of the regular season, bringing together players, coaches and supporters for one of the final preseason events on the calendar.
The Hatters now turn their attention to the start of the 2026 campaign, which begins on the road Saturday, August 29 against #3 South Dakota State. Stetson will then return to DeLand for its home opener against Webber International on Saturday, September 5, with kickoff at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium scheduled for 11 a.m.
