(.567), third in blocked shots (1.0), and eighth in rebounding (6.3) ... 16 games in double figure scoring with five double-doubles ... 2019-20 (Freshman): ASUN All-Freshman Team … Kyle Macy Freshman All-America Team … enjoyed a stellar freshman season, earning Freshman All-America honors along with teammate Rob Perry … finished second on the team in scoring (12.5) while leading the Hatters in rebounds per game (6.5) … ranked among ASUN leaders in field-goal percentage (3rd), rebounds per game (8th) and points per game (10th) … was also 5th in the conference in points per 40 minutes (19.5) … his 214 total rebounds are third-most by a freshman in Stetson history and the most in 21 years … scored in double figures 22 times and had five double-digit rebounding efforts … led the Hatters with five double-doubles … scored 20 or more points four times including a season-high 28 in a home loss to North Florida … added 12 rebounds against the Ospreys and shot 11 of 18 from the field … grabbed 15 boards in a home loss to FIU … exploded for 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting, and grabbed 7 rebounds as Stetson defeated Monmouth in the ASUN/MAAC Challenge at Disney’s Wide World of Sports … matched that scoring out put two games later with 21 points and 10 rebounds against Florida College … had 22-10 and hit several key baskets in the second half as Stetson downed Bethune-Cookman in November … earned ASUN Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 23 after averaging 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games … had 16 points and 6 boards at UNC Asheville, and 15 points to go with his 15 rebounds versus FIU … scored 19 points as Hatters rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat NJIT in DeLand … averaged 11.6 points and 6.3 rebounds in ASUN Conference games.

Before Stetson: 2019 graduate of Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va. … prior to verbally committing to the Hatters in early June, Diawara was ranked as the No. 179 player in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports.com, and was a 4-star recruit by both Rivals.com and ESPN … ranked by ESPN as the No. 36 center in the country … coached by Chad Myers at Massanutten … played AAU ball for Boo Williams … participated in some of the most prestigious summer camps in the country including the NBPA Top 100 Camp (2018), and the Nike Elite 100 (2017) … also represented Mali at the FIBA U17 championships in 2016 … spent two seasons at Massanutten, helping lead the Colonels to 65 victories and consecutive trips to the National Prep Championship tournament … averaged 12.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a junior, and 12 points and eight rebounds as a senior for a team which featured at least three other Division I signees … began playing basketball at age 14 … owns an 87-inch wingspan.
