High School: 2017 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School in Columbia, S.C. … scored over 1,000 points in three varsity seasons, finishing his career with 1,161 points in 78 games (14.9 per game) … just the 13th player in school history to reach the milestone … also made 134 3-pointers in his career, including 61 as a senior … averaged 17.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game as a senior as Cardinal Newman went 19-11 overall … scored 20 or more points 11 times as a senior, with a high of 28 in a win over York Prep … nominated for the McDonald’s All-All American Games … earned All-State honors from the South Carolina Independent School Association … named to The State’s All-Midlands Boys Basketball Team … averaged 16.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists as a junior on his way to All-State and all-region honors.
