His 166 punt return yards also set a new career record for the modern era

Played for coach Kevin Locastro at the Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, helping the Lynx to an 11-1 record and a district title as a senior
Played multiple positions, but primarily saw action at received and defensive back
Recorded 31 receptions for 553 yards and four scores as a senior
Was credited with 22 tackles with a pair of interceptions, seven pass breakups and two fumble recoveries
Saw action on both punt and kickoff return units
As a junior he had 25 receptions for 501 yards and five scores in helping his squad to an 11-0 record
Was credited with 26 tackles, including a sack, while recording three interceptions, nine pass breakups and a fumble recovery
