Biography

2023 Season

  • Saw action in 11 games, making nine starts, while going 1-1 with a 5.19 ERA in 34.2 innings pitched
  • Struck out 42 batters and limited opposing hitters to a batting average of just .227
  • Made seven starts against ASUN opponents, going 1-0 with a 5.84 ERA and striking out 25 in 24.2 innings
  • Earned the win, his first since May 16, 2019, against Lipscomb on April 16, holding the Bisons to a single run on three hits while striking out six
  • Turned in scorleess outings against Manhattan on February 17 (2.0 IP, 6 K), Mount St. Mary's on March 6 (1.0 IP, 2 K), Kennesaw State (2.2 IP, 4 K), and at Central Arkansas (2.0 IP)


2022 Season

  • Made just one appearance in his effort to return following shoulder surgery
  • Started against Bethune-Cookman on April 12, allowing three runs on a hit and four walks without recording an out

2020 Season 
  • Made just one appearance during the shortened season, but turned irformance in that one game
  • Worked seven shutout innings, allowing just one hit, with two walks and 11 strikeouts against Fairfield on March 7
Summer 2019
  • Was the top left-handed arm in the Florida Collegiate League for the DeLand Suns
  • Was dominant in six appearances, covering 28.2 innings
  • Allowed three earned runs (0.94 ERA), with only 15 players in the league able to even get a hit off him, all of which were singles
  • Walked eight batters and struck out 33 for a 4.13 ratio
  • In each of the five games he started, he struck out at least five hitters, and never allowed more than four hits in an outing
  • Posted a 3-0 record and was named to the All-Florida League first team
2019 Season
  • Became the first freshman in Stetson history, and just the 12th pitcher overall, to record 100 strikeouts in a season
  • Surpassed the old Stetson record for strikeouts by a freshman (98) which was set by Lenny DiNardo in 1998
  • Made 19 appearances on the mound with 14 starts
  • Posted a 3.61 ERA in 94.2 innings of work with 102 strikeouts
  • Recorded 11 strikeouts over 6.0 innings of work in a no decision against Maryland on March 9
  • Helped the Hatters to a 7-5 victory at Texas Tech on March 24 with 7.0 innings of work, allowing just two runs on three hits
  • Earned his first victory at North Alabama on March 30 with 5.0 innings of work, allowing just three hits
  • Was selected as ASUN co-Pitcher of the Week for his outing against NJIT on April 7
  • Shutout the Highlanders for 8.0 innings on seven hits with a season-high 12 strikeouts
  • Shutout Kennesaw State on April 19 over 6.2 innings to earn his third win
  • Worked 2.2 innings of no-hit relief at Florida State on April 24 with six strikeouts
  • Held FGCU to one run on six hits over 6.0 innings to earn his fourth win on May 4
  • Fired 3.0 no-hit innings of relief against Florida State on May 8 in the Hatters' no-hitter of the Seminoles

  • Gave a gutty performance against Liberty on May 25 on short rest in the ASUN Tournament, allowing one earned run on four hits over 5.0 innings
  • Finished fifth in the ASUN in opponent batting average .219

  • Was named the ASUN Freshman of the Year, becoming the sixth Hatter to win the award since it launched in 2001
