High School
  • Was a two-time All-County Offensive Player of the Year on the offensive line for coach Darrell Sutherland at Bartram Trail HS
  • Earned All-State honors as a junior (second team) and senior (first team)
  • Helped the Bears to a 25-3 record over two years with playoff runs both seasons
  • Played on the defensive line as a sophomore, recording 26 tackles in seven games
  • Was also a member of the track team, earning fourth in the state in the shot put as a senior after a seventh-place finish in the same event as a junior
  • Was the conference champion in weight lifting as a junior
  • Was a member of the AB Honor Roll
