2007: After winning the starting catcher position as a freshman, was forced to sit out most of 2007 with a back injury... Played and started in three games... Was 1-for-7 for a .143 batting average... Was 1-for-2 with eight put outs against Southern Illinois (2/11/07). 2006 Tied for third in the A-Sun in sacrifice bunts (12)... Drove in three runs, including one on a squeeze bunt March 28 at UCF... Went 3-for-3 May 13 vs. FAU... Had two hits and scored a run in A-Sun championship game vs. ETSU... Went 1-for-3 in NCAA Regional game against #11 Michigan... Had at least one hit in 14 of final 17 games... Credited with a sacrifice bunt in five straight games from April 21-29... Batted .375 (18-for-48) in the month of May.

High School: Finished his career as the all-time hits, doubles, average, and RBI leader at Danbury High School... Maintained a career average of .408... Batted .418 his senior year with 30 RBI... Was a two-time First-Team All-State selection and a four-time All-FCIAC performer... Also a four-year starter in basketball... Danbury’s athletic teams are also called the Hatters.
