2008-09 (Sophomore) Played 29 games as a sophomore... First career start came at Jacksonville (2/23/09)... Scored career-high six points with a 3-point field goal and 3-for-4 shooting from the line against Webber International (12/17/08)... Played 14 minutes in Stetson's A-Sun Tournament game against ETSU (3/4/09)... Was 2-for-2 from the line in 10 minutes of play against the University of Florida... Will see a significant increase in playing time as he takes on an important role as a junior with the 2009-10 squad.

2007-08 (Freshman)  Played in 31 of Stetson’s 32 games... Showed tremendous skill and promise for his career... Scored a season-high five points against Alabama-Birmingham on 11/13/07 (2-for-4 FG, 1-for-2 FT) and against Savannah State 2/19/08 (2-for-3 FG, 1-for-1 3-Point)... Pulled down a season-high five rebounds against Rhode Island (11/17/07)... Picked up a pair of steals and two points against #22 University of Miami... Will likely see substantial increase in playing time in 2008-09.

Champlain College (HS)  Played for the Cavaliers of Champlain College in 2006-07... Averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game... Scored 18 and 6 rebounds in a British Columbia tournament... Team was ranked #3 in Canada in 2005-06.

Personal  Shawn was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada... Son of Robert Bowen and Venora Brisstt... Majoring in Finance at Stetson. Career goals include success in business and playing professional basketball.
