2007-08: First Team All-Atlantic Sun...A-Sun All-Academic Team...11-11 at #1 singles and 16-6 in doubles matches...formed a dominating combo with Filip Kricka, going 14-1 (7-0 A-Sun) in their doubles matches...took on five nationally ranked individuals in the spring, defeating Mahmoud Hamed of USF (#84 at the time) and Clemson’s Rok Bijzak (#99).
2006-07: Went 6-9 in singles and 17-7 in doubles... A-Sun First Team All Conference... ITA Scholar Athlete... A-Sun All Academic... Reached an ITA ranking of #61 during the season... Played both #1 and # singles and #1 doubles with Filip Kricka.
2005-06: Was 17-8 in singles and 15-9 in doubles... NCAA Individual Championships... A-Sun Player of the Year... A-Sun First Team All Conference... Stetson Male Athlete of the Year... ITA Scholar... 2006 Final ranking 119... Played at #1 in singles and at #1 doubles with Serguei Boulanov. Echtler was the first player to represent both Stetson and the Atlantic Sun Conference at the NCAA individual championships.
2004-05: Was 10-9 in singles and 14-6 in doubles ... earned First-Team Atlantic Sun All-Conference and Atlantic Sun All-Freshmen honors ... also received Academic All-Conference mention ... played the #1 singles all season and mostly #1 in doubles with Trevor Bach and Birger Soiland.
High School: Helped Venice High School to two district titles and a state finals appearance ... went undefeated three years in singles during regular season play ... was the 3A high singles and doubles champion in 2004 ... was a three-time team MVP selection and three-time team captain ... also earned all-state honors three years ... member of the National Honor Society and the Key Club ... was a three-time USTA Designated Winner.
