Biography

2008: Played in 14 games with six starts as a junior... Scored the second goal in a 2-0 shutout of Belmont (10/26)... Had two shots in 2-0 loss to Lipscomb (10/24).

2007: Played in 15 games with 12 starts... Fifth on the team in scoring with four points on a goal and two assists... Scored winning goal in 2-1 win over Mercer.

 

2006:  Played in all 20 games, including 15 starts... Third on the team in points (5) and goals (2)... Named to A-Sun All-Freshman Team... Scored first career goal in second career game at UNC-Greensboro... Scored Hatters’ lone goal in nationally televised game at USF.

 

High School: Played for Steve McHale at Edgewater High School... Helped guide his team to a district title and regional semifinal appearance... Chosen All-State three times... Named All-Metro first-team... also participated in water polo.

 

Personal: Son of Victor and Gricelda Carpintero... Born Oct. 7, 1987 in Los Angeles, Calif.... Majoring in Accounting.
