2007: Forbes hit .291 with three home runs and 29 RBI as a junior, tying for third on the team with nine doubles. A versatile player who started 35 games in right field and 31 more at second base, she powered the Hatters through the stretch run with an outstanding weekend at the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament, batting .571 (12-21) with a home run and three RBI en route to the A-Sun Tournament Most Valuable Player Award. Her two-run home run against Gardner-Webb in the first game of the A-Sun finals was the spark that ignited Stetson to a 3-0 win, forcing a winner-take-all game which the Hatters won 6-4 to advance to their first NCAA Tournament. In the opener of an April 21 doubleheader against Belmont, Forbes became the first player in Stetson history to record three doubles in a game; the Hatters went on to win 9-1. She set the school record with 29 sacrifices in a season and ranks third for her career with 40. Forbes also enters her senior year tied for eighth in school history with 24 career doubles.
