2010: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...appeared in 13 matches off the bench...scored on the only shot he took all season (his first career shot) in 4-0 win at Lipscomb (Oct. 3).

2009: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...played in four matches as a freshman averaging just under 20 minutes per match.

High School: Graduated from Allen D. Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida...also attended Berren County High School in Nashville, Georgia...in his high school career he earned varsity letters in soccer, cross country, football, and track...was an honor roll student who won various athletic honors...helped team achieve two state championships and one runner up finish.

Personal: Son of Joe Matthews and Ricki Taylor... Born August 22 in Tifton, Georgia...chose Stetson because of its prestigious reputation for soccer and academics...majoring in Biology at Stetson.
