Biography

2009:  Played in 50 games, starting 49 in left and right field...batted .192 with team-high six doubles...also had a triple and nine RBI...ranked third on the team with four stolen bases...three for three with three RBI and a triple in March 23 win over Brown...also went three for three in April 11 doubleheader opener at Campbell...two for three with two doubles, a run and an RBI against UCF (April 8)...five multi-hit games.

 

2008:  Played in 64 games with 62 starts in the outfield (56 in LF and six in RF)...batted .204 with seven doubles and 19 RBI...third on the team with 29 walks, the eighth-highest season total in school history...team-high three outfield assists...went three for four with two doubles in win over the College of Charleston (Feb. 16)...also had three-hit games against Maine (March 1) and Liberty (March 11)...hit .385 (5-13) in the Atlantic Sun Tournament.

Prior to Stetson ? Bailey helped lead Gulf Coast Community College (Panama City, Fla.) to the state championship as a freshman in 2006 and to a 48-20 record as a sophomore in 2007.  Last season she batted .226 with two home runs and 13 RBI, ranking third on the team with 21 walks.  As a freshman, Bailey hit .400 with five home runs and 45 RBI as the Lady Commodores went 57-10 en route to an NJCAA title game appearance.  Bailey played high school softball at Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) High School for Coach Jesse Knight.

Personal:  The daughter of Todd and Denise Bailey...born May 14, 1987...majoring in Rehabilitative Studies.
