Biography

2011-12: Second Team All-Atlantic Sun...All-Conference Academic Team...9-10 (4-3 A-Sun) in singles...primarily played #2 singles...12-9 (4-4 A-Sun) in doubles, usually pairing with Hans Adrian Riseng...that combination won five straight matches to end the season.

 

2010-11: First Team All-Atlantic Sun...A-Sun All-Academic Team...19-10 (8-2 A-Sun) in singles...played everywhere from #1 to #5 position...19-9 (7-3 A-Sun) in doubles...spent the first few weeks of the spring season ranked 40th and 42nd nationally with doubles partner Maksim Levanovich.

 

2009-10: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...9-7 (4-3 A-Sun) in singles...played exclusively #6 singles...14-4 (5-2 A-Sun) in doubles with partner Mark Mestan...perfect 6-0, 6-0 shutout in Hatter win over Kennesaw State on March 25.

 

2008-09: Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team...14-8 in singles, 5-3 in A-Sun matches...appeared at three different slots in the lineup with 12 matches at #4 singles...12-10 overall and 4-5 in A-Sun doubles play, pairing exclusively with Christopher Swanteson, 20 times in #1 slot...8-0-1 in singles from March 10 to April 2.

 

Prior to Stetson:  Top 400 player in the ITF junior rankings...2006 Norwegian Under-18 national champion...Division I league champion in Norway...#126 ranked player in neighboring Sweden...has earned ATP points...son of Kjell and Catherine Stene...majoring in Business.
