2010  Played and started in 53 games... Named the team's Co-Offensive Player of the Year... Earned A-Sun All-Academic Team honors... Led the team and was 4th in the Atlantic Sun Conference in hitting with a .398 batting average... Had one of the longer hitting streaks in the nation at 24 games... Hit .444 with 40 hits, 6 doubles and 2 triples during the streak... Finished 2nd on team and 8th in the A-Sun in stolen bases with 18... Led the Stetson outfielders in defensive assists with 6... Led the team and 3rd in conference in on base percentage at .504... Second on the team in triples with 3... Tied for team lead in walks with 34... Tied for 2nd on team in multiple hit games with 25... Finished with 5 multiple RBI games... Had two hits in 7 consecutive games... Went hitless in just 11 games all season... Had 3 hits in consecutive games at Mercer... Was 4-for-5 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored against Lipscomb (4/25/10)... Was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in A-Sun Tournament game against Jacksonville (5/27/10).

2009  Earned Academic All-Conference honors from the A-Sun... Played in 40 games with 38 starts as a sophomore... Second on the team in sacrifice bunts with four... Third on the team in stolen bases with five... Finished with 12 multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games... Longest hitting streak was six games between April 10 and 18... Was 6-for-8 with six runs scored and five RBI in doubleheader vs. USC Upstate (4/4/09)... Was 3-for-5 with an RBI and run scored at Florida (4/15/09)... Was 3-for-5 with two runs scored against Mercer (4/11/09).

2008  Earned Academic All-Conference honors... Played in 43 games with 32 starts, mostly in centerfield... Finished 8th on the team in hits with 36... Sixth on the team in on base percentage at .346... Was 6-for-8 in stolen bases... Eighth in doubles with five and fifth in triples with one... Had nine multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games... Longest hitting streak of the season was six games... Had a 4-for-5 performance with 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and a double against USC Upstate (5/10/08)... Was 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored vs. Bethune-Cookman (4/8/08)... Was 2-for-5 with 3 RBI and  a pair of doubles vs. Lipscomb (4/5/08).

HIGH SCHOOL  Graduated from Bloomingdale High School in Valrico, Florida... Was a member of the National Honor Society... Played District 5A baseball under head coach K.B. Skull... As a freshman in 2004 he helped team achieve District and Regional Championships and reach the State Final Four... His teams reached the Regional Semi Finals in 2006 and the Regional Finals in 2007 with a 19-6 record... As a senior he was named Tampa Tribune 2nd Team All-County and the St. Petersburg Times Team MVP... He led the team in triples and stolen bases... Has been named MVP of the Central Florida Renegades baseball club... In the summer of 2006 with the Renegades he boasted a .473 on-base percentage and stole 33 bases while being caught stealing just once.

PERSONAL  Jeff Simpson was born in Memphis, Tennessee... The son of Cindy and Larry Simpson of Valrico, Florida... Simpson is majoring in Sports Management at Stetson.
