Biography

Junior (2015): Had an outstanding first season for the Hatters, finishing second on the team in hitting with a .322 average while also leading the squad with six triples, eight home runs and 19 stolen bases ... His .529 slugging percentage also paced the club ... Got the season started with three four-hit games over the first two weeks of the year ... Tied a school record against FIU (2/18) with three doubles ... Also had a triple and scored three runs in the victory over the Panthers ... Followed up with 10 hits in the four-game weekend series against Central Michigan, propelling him to Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week honors ... Had a season-high five hits against Long Island (3/20) ... Finished the year with 18 multiple-hit games and had nine multiple-RBI games ... Had a team-best streak of reaching base in 21 straight games and finished the season on a seven-game hit streak ... Had eight hits, including two doubles and a triple in the final regular season series of the year at FGCU ... Blasted a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 16th inning to give the Hatters an 8-7 victory over Jacksonville (5/20) in the opening game of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.

Prior to Stetson: Spent one season at the State College of Florida in Bradenton after two years at the University of Florida … Redshirted in 2012 … Was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll both years … Appeared in 32 games as a redshirt freshman in 2013, including 11 starts … Batted .275 with one double and four RBI for the Gators  … Was 2-for-5 in Florida’s win at Jacksonville … Was Florida’s starting right fielder on opening day against Duke and hit an RBI single in his first at-bat … Saw action in 41 games in 2014 for the Manatees, batting .335 with seven homers and 32 RBI while also stealing 11 bases … Also had five triples.

High School: Attended Port St. Lucie High School and played for head coach Tony Malizia … Became the fourth player in school history to reach 100 hits … Named first team All-Area and was chosen to the Best of the Treasure Coast team from The Palm Beach Post as a senior … The Jaguars claimed the District 14-5A title and advanced to the regional semifinals … Batted .406 with 25 runs, 19 walks, 11 RBI, three doubles, two homers and a triple … Participated in the Treasure Coast All-Star Game … Was a first-team Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers All-Area selection as a junior, finishing his season with a .414 batting average, 13 RBI and 10 stolen bases and four homers … Member of the National Honor Society and Bible Study at Port St. Lucie.
