Biography

Senior (2017): A team captain ... Opened the year at shortstop, playing the first 24 games there ... Suffered a blow to the head at second base in the opening game at Tulane (3/24) ... After missing the second game of that series, came back to start the series finale at third base and started the finale 31 games at the hot corner ... Proved himself to be an outstanding defensive third baseman, making numerous run saving, and on more than one occasion, game-saving plays ... Made just four errors in 87 chances at third base after being charged with eight errors in 124 chances at short ... Finished the season hitting .264 with 14 extra-base hits ... Was second on the team with 11 doubles ... Batted .288 in ASUN play ... Had 10 multiple-hit games ... His longest hit streak was eight games, which was the longest for any Hatter not named Jacob Koos ... Opened the season with a three-hit game against Southern Illinois (2/17) ... Also had a pair of three hits games against Jacksonville (5/5 and 5/6) helping him to earn ASUN Player of the Week honors ... Was 8-for-14 in four games that week with four RBI and four runs scored ... Saved Logan Gilbert's two-hit shutout of FGCU (4/9) with a pair of sparkling defensive plays to end the game in the ninth inning ... Heads up play in the ninth inning of the opening game against UNF (5/12) secured a Stetson win when he tagged out two runners at second base ... Home runs came against UCF, UNF and Lipscomb ... Summer (2016): Played for the Purcellville Cannons in the Valley League ... Hit .173 (13-75), with two home runs, 11 RBI and two doubles.

Junior (2016): Saw action in 53 games, 47 as a starter ... Started 27 games at third base and 20 at shortstop ... Finished the year batting .194 ... Went 27-for-139 with two doubles, two home runs and 16 RBI ... Scored 18 runs ... Walked 12 times ... Had five multiple-hit games ... Went 2-for-4 with two runs, a home run and four RBI against Siena (2/24) ... Went 2-for-2, walked and was hit-by-pitch twice and scored four times at Bethune-Cookman (3/2) ... Went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI at Florida International ... Finished 2-for-4 with a double and RBI against Maine (3/11) ... Went 1-for-4 with two RBI against Maine (3/12) ... Named to the ASUN Academic Honor Roll.

Summer (2015): Played for the DeLand Suns in the Florida Collegiate Summer League ... Led the team in hitting with a .348 average despite playing in just 14 games ... Had three doubles and drove in three runs.

Sophomore (2015): Saw action in 36 games, 12 as a starter at second base ... Finished the year with a .222 batting average in 45 at bats ... His only multiple-hit game of the year came against Penn (2/27).

Freshman (2014): Saw action in 22 games, eight as a starter ... Finished the season hitting .231 ... Had his first collegiate hit against Maine (3/2) ... Had his only extra-base hit of the year, a double, against Jacksonville (5/4) ... Had single hits in all three games of the series against Yale (3/14-16).

High School: Was a three-year letter winner, playing second base and shortstop ... Helped Venice High to back-to-back Class 7A state titles as a junior and senior ... Team finished his senior season ranked second in the nationby Baseball America, Perfect Game and Max Preps ... Team posted a 29-3 record during his senior season and a 73-17 mark over his three seasons ... Was a Rawlings Preseason Honorable Mention All-American ...
